Also known as a ORT Catcher, Thread Bed, Floss Keeper, Project Pal etc is a very useful tool for anyone who does embroidery. You store any of the loose threads from a project inside to keep the threads safe.
Since I started using a ORT catcher I haven’t lost any of the loose threads I’m using, either sewing a kit or a freehand design.
These are handmade by myself with good quality quilting cotton, a wool mix felt inner and a popper fastening.
They are the perfect size to fit in a project bag, it’s big enough to store all the threads that are in use with a project.
You can even store the needles you are using as they pin to the felt nicely.
