Thread Keeper Autumn Hedgehog ORT Catcher
Thread Keeper Autumn Hedgehog also known as a ORT Catcher, Thread Bed, Floss Keeper, Project Pal etc is a very useful tool for anyone who does embroidery. You can store all of the loose threads from a project inside to keep the threads safe.
Since I started using a thread keeper I haven’t lost any of my loose threads, either sewing a kit or a freehand design.
It folds to approximately 4 inches x 6 inches which makes it the perfect size to fit in a project bag. When it is open (8 inches x 6 inches) it’s big enough to store all the threads that are in use with a project. You can even store the needles you are using as they pin to the felt nicely.
It is handmade by myself with good quality quilting cotton, a wool mix felt inner and a popper fastening.
